HedgeStar and Cargill Risk Management will co-present at this year’s MN AFP annual conference for a discussion on managing and accounting for commodity price risk.
With macroeconomic and political uncertainty, the managing of price risk for commodities is especially relevant and timely. Whether the subject is dairy, metals, or energy production inputs and commodity supply chain introduce risk to the enterprise that must be addressed in a meaningful and methodical way.

Identifying the nature and extent of risk exposures
Mitigating those exposures using hedging tools
Accounting for those hedges under ASC 815
